Summary

The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a new Candidate Liaison Manager – Team Trudeau for an opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff to support Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team as we work together to keep Canada moving forward.

As part of the dynamic and fast-paced team working to earn a mandate from Canadians whenever the next election campaign arrives, the Liberal Party of Canada’s Candidate Liaison Manager – Team Trudeau will be responsible for providing the best possible support and resources related to operations, policy, and communications to our nominated candidates and campaign teams from coast to coast to coast.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a team that supports candidates by email and telephone
  • Develop processes and systems for logging inquiries and cross-sharing information throughout the organization
  • Answer, direct, or manage campaign-oriented inquiries across a wide range of priorities:
    • Policy
    • Messaging
    • Media Relations
    • Field Organizing
    • Grassroots Fundraising
    • Special events
    • Campaign tools
  • Create and manage an ongoing depository of policy issues and campaign resources

You’ll need to have

  • 3 – 5 years of political experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and database systems
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset and strongly preferred
