Summary

The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking an Administrative Assistant for an opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team’s work to keep Canada moving forward.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative duties in supporting the Senior Directors, as requested. Duties include but are not limited to arranging travel plans meeting minute-taking, and scheduling appointments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintains appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, and videoconferences for the Senior Directors, as needed.
  • Supports internal team communications and team-building efforts.
  • Supports or leads special projects as required, including but not limited to planning support for AGMs and large party meetings.
  • Other duties as required.

You’ll need to have

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop productive working relationships working with a wide-range of peers and stakeholders.
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to solve problems.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
